Paid time away from work is provided, such as to observe holidays, take a vacation, treat an illness, or attend to personal business.
We also provide a program called LifeBalance, a comprehensive and fully confidential resource to help us resolve issues and answer questions related to the wide variety of challenges we face every day – parenting, work relationships, elder care, financial issues, emotional well-being, addiction and recovery, education, legal. LifeBalance provides face-to-face counseling sessions for employees and family members, telephone consultations, referral services, and an extensive library of on-line, audio, and written educational materials dealing with all of life's challenging topics.
The Seneca Foods Wellness Program is ingrained into our business culture. Company-wide initiatives are regularly promoted to heighten our awareness and encourages us to engage in activities and behaviors toward improving our health and overall success as individuals. The Wellness Program includes outreaches such as on-site influenza immunizations and health screenings, smoking cessation assistance, health coaching, on-site wellness coordinators, and regular company-wide multi-media communications relating to the full spectrum of wellness topics, from healthy recipes to National Awareness events.
